August KINSTRETCH Schedule at Motive Training (South Austin)

At Motive Training, we don’t stretch for the sake of it. We train mobility with intention, precision, and structure. That’s what sets our KINSTRETCH classes apart—each one led by a certified coach, grounded in real results, and built to help you move better where it counts.

Each session is designed to improve joint health, build strength at your end ranges, and help you develop movement control that translates to life outside the gym. If you’re trying to get out of pain, feel more confident in your body, or simply want to move with more freedom, this is where you start.

Here’s how our KINSTRETCH classes are structured this August at our South Austin studio:

Mondays: Spine, Scapula & Shoulder

6:15–7:15 PM with Brian Murray

Start your week by restoring control and connection through your upper body. This class trains segmental spine movement, scapular mechanics, and shoulder rotation—all essential if you sit at a desk, press overhead, or struggle with neck tension.

What you’ll train:

  • Controlled Articular Rotations (CARs) for spine and shoulder.
  • Isometric holds that target end-range strength.
  • Inputs to improve thoracic extension, scapular control, and shoulder joint rotation.

This class is ideal if you’re dealing with stiffness in your neck, upper back, or shoulders. Learn more about why joint rotation matters and how we use it to build long-term function.

Wednesdays: Hips & Pelvis

6:15–7:15 PM with Brian Murray

Midweek is about training your foundation. You’ll explore the deep joint space of your hips—where power, posture, and pain relief begin.

In this session:

  • You’ll train capsular inputs to improve internal and external rotation.
  • Develop active hip flexion and extension.
  • Build pelvic control to support squatting, sprinting, and sitting with more ease.

This is the class to attend if you’re working through tight hips, pinching in specific positions, or looking to get deeper in your squats. Learn more about how we train these patterns in our end-range mobility training breakdown.

Fridays: Knees, Ankles & Toes

5:00–6:00 PM with Andres Ubach

We start from the ground up. Friday’s class targets the feet, ankles, and knees through precise articulation work and strength in challenging positions.

What you’ll work on:

  • Foot and toe control.
  • Dorsiflexion and plantarflexion capacity.
  • Rotational knee strength and tibial control.

This session is essential for anyone managing foot pain, recovering from ankle issues, or trying to build more resilient knees. Meet Coach Andres and see why his attention to detail makes him a client favorite.

Sundays: Full-Body Integration

10:15–11:15 AM with Brian Cassady

Sundays are for tying it all together. This session reinforces all the inputs trained throughout the week and delivers a total-body reset.

Expect to cover:

  • Spinal segmentation with shoulder and hip coordination.
  • Functional knee, ankle, and foot work.
  • Isometric and breathing strategies to help integrate your new mobility gains into daily life.

This is an ideal session for both new and returning students. It’s also a great opportunity to train with Brian Cassady, who recently completed his KINSTRETCH certification and brings deep coaching experience to the team.

What Makes Our KINSTRETCH Classes Different?

We don’t just stretch—we train your joints to function better. These classes use Functional Range Conditioning principles to help you gain mobility that’s usable and lasting.

At Motive Training, we build each session with structure and intention:

  • Every joint has a role.
  • Every position has a purpose.
  • Every drill builds on what came before.

You won’t be guessing. You’ll know exactly why you’re doing what you’re doing—and you’ll feel the difference.

If you’re unsure which class to attend, our team will help you decide. We train people from all walks of life—athletes, lifters, desk workers, and people who just want to feel better again. Reach out here and we’ll help you get started.
