Train With Intention: Your July KINSTRETCH Schedule at Motive Training

At Motive Training, KINSTRETCH isn’t just a “mobility class.” It’s a system for building joint health, body control, and long-term resilience—one region at a time. Every month, our schedule evolves to address what our members need most, striking a balance between progress and consistency.

This month, we’re tightening up our schedule to focus on three core classes per week. As demand returns, we’ll open more. In the meantime, you’ll still get expert coaching, personalized feedback, and a full-body mobility training system rooted in Functional Range Conditioning.

Here’s what’s on deck for July.

MONDAY – UPPER LIMB MOBILITY

6:15 PM with Brian Murray

We kick off the week by building control in the most overused and undertrained regions of your body: shoulders, elbows, and wrists. If you’re dealing with shoulder pain, tech-neck, or trouble with pressing mechanics, this session is for you.

You’ll work on:

  • Internal and external shoulder rotation with intention.
  • Scapular gliding and segmental articulation.
  • Isometrics for elbow and wrist control that restore strength and reduce overuse strain.

WEDNESDAY – SPINE SEGMENTATION & POSTURAL CONTROL

6:15 PM with Brian Murray

This is not just a “back class.” It’s a full-spectrum approach to spinal health, focusing on thoracic rotation, cervical mobility, and postural control from top to bottom.

You’ll train:

  • Controlled Articular Rotations (CARs) for every spinal segment.
  • Active spinal extension and flexion for better posture and pain relief.
  • Neck mobility and control drills to combat the side effects of sitting.

If you sit at a desk or struggle with tension headaches, this class will make a noticeable difference in your symptoms. Learn more in No Wonder You Have Neck Pain.

THURSDAY – LOWER LIMB CONTROL & LOADING

8:00 AM with Andres Ubach

Feet. Toes. Ankles. Knees. Hips. This session connects them all.

You’ll work from the ground up—because lower limb control isn’t just about squats and lunges. It starts with how well you control each joint on its own, then how they cooperate when you move.

This session includes:

  • Ankle dorsiflexion, eversion, and tibial rotation work.
  • Toe control, big toe loading, and plantar fascia prep.
  • Knee isometrics, hip rotation, and pelvic control.

WEEKENDS – BONUS CLASSES & EVENTS

We’ll throw bonus KINSTRETCH sessions and specialty workshops on the weekend throughout July. Topics may include shoulder CARs breakdowns, hip rotation deep dives, or recovery-focused flows.

Why We Program This Way

Mobility isn’t random. It’s systemized. Every class we teach serves a purpose: restoring control where you’ve lost it, building strength where you’re weak, and creating joint capacity that lasts. We don’t believe in flashy workouts with no carryover. We believe in joint-by-joint progress, built from the inside out.
